What is Aa’liviera? Aa’liviera (ah-live-ee-era) is more than a brand; it’s a state of mind. It is to be alive in the moment and thankful as the moment passes. 

 I heard the name in a dream sometime in 2019 & told my late mother that I would do something with it one day. 

Since I was a little girl, I have dreamed of being a fashion designer. I would cut up socks and any material that I could get my hands on to try to make clothes for my dolls. 

Crocheting was never my initial idea when it came to design. I always anticipated sewing clothes & finding a way to sell them.

 I briefly attended the  Academy of Art University virtually for two semesters in 2020. During the pandemic, I learned so much about fashion design, color theory, sewing, materials and fabrics, etc. I have a background in visual arts, as I am a painter and draw as a hobby! I later dropped out of art school and decided to completely change my major to psychology. What a drastic change, lol. 

I found myself completely falling out of love for art a bit after my mother's passing. Months after her passing, I felt the urgency to use my love for fashion and design. She loved fashion as much as I did. I decided to start learning to crochet in November of 2023 and quickly learned different patterns and techniques. Now, here we are!!! I’m finally selling my art! 

I'm committed to making anyone who wears my products smile. From the bright, bold colors I incorporate into every hat I make to the attention to detail I put into my art, I hope I have something for everybody! 

My goal is to be more than just a person who makes hats. I want to build a community of people who love art, fashion, self-expression, and fun! I plan to expand as this community, and this brand grow.
